WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING EXHIBITORS!
Why vendors should come:
This event is free for you and for the public. You lose no money to exhibition fees and the public keeps all of their money in their pockets until they see you. We have had three major hurricanes in the last 12 years and a major flood in our area in 2016 and again with Hurricane Harvey. For this reason, people here still see the need for preparedness in our area. We are looking for people with all kinds of emergency and sustainable living supplies and food and various crisis supplies. Our venue does not allow for the sales of guns or ammunition although they have allowed knives and tasers in the past. Our plans include public service television and radio interviews. We have an open invitation to many radio stations in Beaumont, Jasper, Orange, and Lake Charles each year. We are open to vendors that want to do classes that are more than just a sales pitch for a product. We lose participants when they are disappointed in class content. Every year we have a signage campaign to cover the Orange area with the awareness of the event. We use social media to get the word out, and are open to other suggestions.
Our expected attendance:
With nine years of experience in the same location, we are shooting for 1000+ for our tenth anniversary. We welcome vendors to spend the weekend with us and then move on The Mother Earth News event in Belton,Texas the next weekend.. Many in our area come to our event because it is not possible for everyone get away to attend that event. Not only is it five hours away, it is very expensive.
Here's how we plan on getting the right people in the door:
local television talk shows, radio, newspaper, social media, email campaign, local signs
Our experience with shows:
We have been putting on this show with consistent participation for nine years. We are very thankful for the vendors like Aftershock Preparedness who came all the way from Iowa in a snowstorm to be a part of our show!
