Mid-Atlantic Emergency Preparedness and Survival Expo 2014-08-16 - Boonsboro Maryland Prepper Show

Building on the success of last year’s expo, Reliable Craftsmanship of Hagerstown, MD, is sponsoring the second annual Mid-Atlantic Emergency Preparedness & Survival Expo at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center August 16 (9 a.m.-6 p.m.) and August 17 (9 a.m.-5 p.m.). Many of last year’s speakers and exhibitors will be returning, while other nationally known exhibitors will be bringing their products and expertise to this east coast event for the first time. Topics will range from emergency medical supplies to bushcraft skills, from long-term food storage to personal safety, from solar energy to homeopathic medicine to permaculture.

Returning as a featured presenter is prepper, author, speaker, and former law enforcement officer Jay Blevins. Jay, who was featured on National Geographic Channel’s Doomsday Preppers, is the author of Survival and Emergency Preparedness Skills (SEPS): Mental, Physical, and Spiritual Readiness in Uncertain Times. Author and physician Cynthia J Koelker, MD (Doc Cindy) draws on her 30 years of experience as a board-certified Family Physician, teaching Survival Medicine Workshops nationwide. Her book, Armageddon Medicine, instructs both those with and without medical experience how to be your own doctor when there’s no other choice. Doc Cindy will be speaking both days. They will be two of more than a dozen speakers who will present and demonstrate over the course of the two-day event.
